Formula

MRR = RDOC × ADOC × IPM

This metric is used extensively to compare the efficiency of different toolpaths. High-efficiency milling (HEM) typically utilizes a small RDOC and large ADOC, whereas traditional slotting uses a full-width RDOC and shallow ADOC.
